Red Deer Daycare

Red Deer Daycare

Red Deer Montessori is a reputed Red Deer daycare center that cares for infants, toddlers, and children. Red Deer Montessori was founded on the principles of Dr. Maria Montessori, and we believe that kids learn best when kids are allowed to be kids. That, in a nutshell, is the philosophy of the Montessori child education model. Letting kids be kids means letting them explore and learn with all of their five senses within the parameters of a safe and controlled environment.

Safety is Our Number One Concern

In an age of disturbing school shootings, child abductions, and child abuse at the hands of teachers and caretakers, it's especially important that you be picky about where you send your child for daycare. You will be pleased to learn that Red Deer Montessori follows the highest national standards of school security, and all of our teachers and staff undergo rigorous criminal and character background checks at the time of hire. We are proud to employ the best educators, janitors, and cooks in Red Deer.

Our Red Deer Daycare Lays the Foundation

At Red Deer Montessori, we believe strongly that we're not just teaching children, we're impacting a generation. The children of today will soon be the adults of tomorrow. Therefore, instead of focusing solely on textbook lessons and rigidly moving through a curriculum, we find the best results when we mix in hands-on activities. This is when children are fully engaged. Our main focus with all of our teaching efforts is to help our children hone their focus, concentration, and independence. These are basic life skills, and children need these foundational skills to learn everything else in life that they will learn. We want to build them a strong foundation now so that they can learn anything successfully as they grow.

Your Kids Will Love it Here

Many parents choose Red Deer Montessori because they don't want to leave their children all day with a daycare provider who does little more than give them their basic needs. Parents want a daycare that they know is going to help their children learn and grow.

Red Deer Montessori prides itself on cleanliness, and our school is kept very clean at all times. Our student to teacher ratio is balanced, meaning that our teachers have the time to give one-on-one attention to each child we care for. If you call us to schedule a visit, you will see that we are not just another daycare. We don't just pack as many kids in as we can fit. The kids here get to play, get individualized attention, and they also do structured work, even at a young age.

Our infant program begins at just six weeks. The toddler program ends at about 2 1/2 years. The infant program is where kids can start learning their body parts, colors, and shapes. Toddlers will work on improving fine motor skills, language skills, social skills, and other age-appropriate skills.

At Red Deer Montessori, we believe in what Dr. Maria Montesorri observed, that "The goal of early childhood education should be to activate the child's own natural desire to learn." It is the desire of our Red Deer daycare to do just that.
